As of 22-June-2025

This map represents the current state of the 2025 Gubernatorial Elections, based on early polling, with many undecided voters still to be determined.
This is a new year and yet another election season now that both New Jersey and Virginia have finished their primaries, including for Governor. Both states have current Governors who can't run again due to term limits and those no incumbents.
In Virginia, we have a race between current Lt. Gov. Earle-Sears (R) and former U.S. Rep. Spanberger (D). According to Roanoke College in a survey of 658 Virginians, 43% support Spanberger, 26% support Earle-Sears, and 28% are undecided. This is a strong lead for Spanberger, but, notably, this was from before the primaries were decided, so the campaigns may change things one way or the other.
In New Jersey's gubernatorial election, U.S. Representative Sherrill (D) and Former State Assemblyman Ciattarelli (R) are running against one another. According to National Research Inc., in a poll of 600 likely voters, Sherrill received 45% support to Ciattarelli's 42%, with 12% undecided. This is a tight lead for Sherrill and one she could easily lose if she is associated too much with the current state's Democratic government, which is lacking in its response to the state's economy and housing affordability, according to New Jersey Monitor.
